PROJECT

Conceived by: Francesca Ferrando
Collaboration: Julian Boilen
This project is conceived as a way to understand how we, humans in the 21st century, in all of our diversities, perceive technology in the Digital Age: from human enhancements to ecology, data privacy, happiness and self-realization.

The survey asks specific questions, such as: "Is technology making our life easier or more complicated?", "Is AI going to take over?", "Implanting a chip to expand human cognition is something desirable or not?" In regard to technological developments, learning directly what we want to do as a species, is much more effective than suggesting what we should do: Your Perspectives, Visions and Feelings Matter. This is why we would like to thank You for taking the time to share them.

The questionnaire is completely anonymous. There are not right or wrong answer.: all perspectives are welcome. This project is conceived as collaborative, ongoing and open to anyone. The results of this survey are freely available to all; they are released under a Creative Commons License, By Attribution and Non-Commercial (CC BY NC), so that they can be shared and quoted without further permission. The questionnaire is anonymous: no emails are asked nor collected. You can find the survey below, please feel free to share it openly and widely.

Thank You for Your Interest and Vision: We Truly Appreciate Them!

SURVEY

Please, note that currently the survey is available on Google Forms.

BACKGROUND

This project sparks out of the lecture "Who is Afraid of Artificial Intelligence" by Francesca Ferrando at the European Union, School of European Administration, for the Talk Series "Changing the Ground" in 2022. Her lecture was conceived as a way to understand how we, humans in the 21st century, in all of our diversities, perceive technology in the Digital Age: from human enhancements to ecology, data privacy, happiness and self-realization.
