GENERAL MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK

GPN DIRECTIVES | UPDATED: JULY, 2023

FRAMEWORK

CO-DIRECTORS OF THE GLOBAL POSTHUMAN NETWORK AND WORLD POSTHUMAN NETWORKS

Last Update: July, 2022

Dearest Friends, Members and Co-Directors of the Global Posthuman Network and World Posthuman Networks:

Indian Posthuman Network
Red Latinoamericana de Posthumanismo
Rete Italiana Postumana
Chinese Posthuman Forum
Pakistan Critical Posthuman Network
Turkish and Brazilian Posthuman Associations

Welcome to the Posthumanist Network Management Framework. Our aim is to establish a comprehensive and adaptable structure that embraces the principles of inclusion, diversity, and accessibility within our networks.

This dynamic framework is designed to evolve alongside our ever-changing networks and relationships. As we embark on this journey, we invite active participation and collaboration from all members to shape a truly posthumanist approach that fosters growth and inclusivity.

Directory:
  • All networks should have a board of at least three members responsible for management and operations.
  • Networks, from their directors to their members, promote horizontality and avoid establishing hierarchical structures inherited from dualist models.
  • All regional and glocal networks affiliated, promote the principles and policies established by the Global Posthuman Network, which include, but are not limited to promoting diversity, comprehension, tolerance, openness, coexistence, sense of community and mutual benefit.

Accessibility:
  • Access to the Global Posthumanism Network and all its regional branches is completely free.
  • Membership is voluntary and available for all members around the world.
  • All network events and activities must consider, as much as possible, accessibility, diversity and inclusion parameters for all its members; special attention must be offered to people with disabilities.

Funds & Donations:
  • Transparency is required on the management and distribution of financial resources.
  • Networks are able to raise funds via donations, institutional funds, and grants, to cover operating costs, project production and public events, among other activities.
  • The use and distribution of the money collected should be publicly accessible to all members of the network, so that contributors can know how the funds are invested and what the destinations of their donations are.
  • Regional Networks should not accept sponsors, in order  to avoid promoting specific  brands and / or affiliations.
  • Donation campaigns should have a clear objective. Explain to your members why you need the funds, what the goal is, and how you will report on your achievements.
  • Networks who are implementing a donation system are asked to publish an annual report to be shared with their members and benefactors.
  • Each network is free to decide through which platform to collect donations.

Peace, Visions and Much Appreciation
The Global Posthuman Network
